About this project
This rear extension and ground floor refurbishment in Twickenham transformed the back of the property into a bright, modern open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. The project involved structural alterations, new steelwork, rooflights, large aluminium sliding doors and a full programme of internal and external works to create a more practical family home.
Breif
The clients wanted to open up the rear of the property and create a spacious kitchen and dining area with a stronger connection to the garden. The brief included extending the ground floor, improving the internal layout, adding a downstairs WC and bringing more natural light into the home through rooflights and wide sliding doors.
The Result
The finished project has created a light-filled, open-plan living space designed for everyday family life and entertaining. With the rear of the property opened up, new structural support installed and the extension completed with clean modern finishes, the home now feels brighter, larger and better connected to the outside space.
